'Cause just exactly at twelve o'clock, he'll be coming down the chimney, yeah!
That is a mere sampling of the AWFUL music James and I were subjected to when we worked at Sears. If they weren't playing the stupidest music ever, than they were playing the same "classic" songs over and over, only different versions which were also varying degrees of terrible. For 3 holiday seasons. How desperate were we? Oh yes, very.
Anyway, a couple items of business this fine first day of December. I am ready to start getting my Christmas on, so I would love to have your addresses (yes even you). I am

This morning we woke up to the sound of snow shovels!
It snowed - a bunch. And continued to snow until just before dark. We ended up with about 5 inches. All day long Zoe would climb up on the coffee table to look out the window. She said "no-een aside" (snowing outside) so many times it almost stopped being cute. We took her out in it and she wasn't quite as excited. She was a little scared to walk in it but then Garth came over to play for a while and she got over it. The snow was super sticky so we got some cool shots of it on our tree. What a great way to kick off December!

I love the "hat under a hat" look. It's adorable. And I love that kind of snow, relatively speaking. Here we have a snow-like substance that is actually ice masquerading as snow. Slippery! And on the way to church in slippery shoes, yikes!
Rebekah just launches herself into the snow! I have to keep close tabs on her. After we were out so long that I was freezing, I had to drag her inside crying and frantically yelling "snow". I know she'll never appreciate it, but I saved her from getting frostbite!
Hey there! how are you guys? Yes, we've converted to the Blogger world. And I have to say, it's quite fun. I'll have to tell LaDonna how wonderful it is! Keep in touch!
I did not realize that Zoe was talking!! I need to see my little grand baby before she is no longer a baby at all. (I may have already missed it). She is so adorable. My heart aches to see her. I am trying to find more help that is reliable and trustworthy so that I can come visit soon... You never know when I might just show up on your doorstep... Love you all, MOM G
CUTE pictures. I got Shelby a snowsuit too. I'll have to take a picture of her in it.
